Spin move

The spin is a counter move, not an opener: when the blocker oversets and leans into your speed rush, you plant, whip the elbow, and spin back inside off his own pressure. The physics do the work — the harder he pushes, the cleaner you come out of the spin. Timing is everything: spin early and you spin into help; spin without the setup and you're just turning your back to a lineman. Rushers who set it up with two or three hard speed rushes first make it nearly unblockable.

Swim moveD-Line

A D-line move where the rusher chops the blocker's hand down with one arm and swims the other arm over the top to get past.

Rip moveD-Line

A D-line move where the rusher dips a shoulder and rips an arm upward under the blocker’s pads to disengage.

ClubD-Line

A strike to the side of the blocker's helmet or shoulder, used to knock him off balance and clear a path.

Push-pullD-Line

A D-line move where the rusher pushes the blocker away to create space, then pulls past him.
